The College Basketball Post

Craft giveth and Craft taketh away.

3 balls were the difference, OSU played more than well enough to win. Don't like how UM can turn into jump shooters.

Burke especially has become bad at settling for jumpers. He used to always attack people especially when there was a big on him, now he keeps trying these step back jumpers.

Craft actually didn't shut down Burke as bad as I thought. 16 points on 12 shots isn't great but 8 assts to 2 TO is pretty good for Burke agaisnt Craft.

I don't know who Hardaway sold his soul to last night but I'm glad he did. 6-9 from 3.

I'm not sure I saw Deshaun touch it once in the final seven minutes there, that's on Matta.

:{ @ Craft thinking he was a superstar down the stretch there

While I do believe he was fouled, why did dude think he was a scoring machine?

D.Thomas for the GW 3 is what I wanted to see.

Oh well, we'll see how they react against Indiana.

Illinois is 2-7 to start off Big 10 play :x

After that hot start to the year I have a hard time seeing how they make the tourney considering they still have some brutal game left. I guess it wasn't just Bruce Weber after all. I just think Illinois is a weird place to coach *shrugs*

I guess he's not the easiest guy to get along with, but still. It's a good program and a decent job but not sure they can do a whole lot better.

Drinking past....showed up to his radio show a lil ehhhh...acting off during the game against George mason

Big game for us tonight vs UCONN, will be in attendance with the swarm of Huskies fans

.

Did he have an MRI today? That'd be a huge loss. :{

UNLV :{. Fresno? really?

Kansas losing to TCU is the worst L this season for any team....Virginia losing to ODU is #2

Hardaway is really coming to his own lately, Him & Burke in March are going to break a lot of kid's hearts.
Trey is falling in love with that stepback contested 3 nonsense. We get it, you have NBA range but drive to the ******g rim.
Let Stauskas shoot those, he's wasting his handle on moves that keep him on the perimeter when he's one of the best finishers out there.
Also him going to the rim will open defenses for GRIII, dude has been a ghost these past couple games :{

The **** happened to Kansas though? Johnson is too old to be such a bad point guard.

Still can't believe Kansas lost to TCU...idc if they win out and other teams lose...can't give them a #1 seed

Going to find out what this team is made of in the next five weeks. On the road against a pretty solid OU team then back home on Big Monday for State. William better get this team focused because we are bordering on the edge of a complete meltdown. Losing to Oklahoma State is one thing but scoring 13 pts against TCU is :x & :{.

Said it all year, didn't believe in Kansas cause of the Releford/Johnson combo...those two do nothing for me. Self is great at getting the best with what he has but I just don't believe in this team all that much.

Jakarr Sampson getting a lot of first round buzz :{

Losing him and Harkless is back to back years would really suck especially cause I think the Johnnies could be really, really good next year.

Sampson is one and done. Staying 2 years was NEVER the plan for him. Especially in a year with a weak draft class. I think Obekpa will bolt after a year or 2 as well, just based on the conversation from when UC was recruiting him.

Multiple people around Wiggins hinted that there’s a chance he’d choose Florida State, where both his parents attended, for a more low key college experience. Fulford said that Huntington Prep played six games in the state of Kentucky this year and drew nearly 35,000 people total in those games.
“We played in North Carolina, we had seven or eight people in Carolina shirts,” Fulford said, noting that North Carolina and Kansas are also suitors for Wiggins. “We’re in Kentucky and we’ve sold out three 6,000 seat gyms. They’re crazy. They’re crazy in a good way. They show how much they want you. It’s overwhelming. He just hates attention.”

Sampson will get acquainted well with the D-League if he bounces this year.
