The College Basketball Post

I don't see too many folks dropping $75 for a college basketball game unfortunately.

I wish it would come back both developers were able to capture the atmosphere of college basketball in their games.
I’ve never understood why the two weren’t combined in some way.

I know I’m late to the convo. But the irony of it all makes me chuckle when I hear coaches who historically had way more freedom of movement to chase the best opportunity (usually driven by a higher salary), complain about today’s players exercising their right to do something similar via the portal and NIL.

It’s not a 1-to-1 comparison between players and coaches but nobody second guessed the likes of Amir Abdur-Rahim (RIP), Shaheen Holloway, and Todd Golden leaving Kennesaw, St Peters, and San Francisco respectively as soon as a winning record was had or a NCAA tournament game was won. Admittedly, the current state of college basketball and football makes it hard for me to truly lock-in. There needs to be more restrictions on player movement and capping NIL financial compensation to prevent situations like what happened with Bryce Underwood. I also think players should only be allowed to transfer as an upperclassmen as well. It really is the Wild West at this present moment and it’s not slowing down unless the NCAA intervenes

This MD/Washington game is disgusting. Million fouls. Teams in double bonus with 10 min left. Gross.

Are we cooked? Apparently it’s affecting collegiate soccer to a whole other level

Don’t think it’s anything to worry bout with a 23 year old signing with Green Bay :lol …Really any player that age going to college from overseas probly not that good to worry bout in general

The real issue is the year to year free agency, gotta get some control on that

UNC needs Wes Miller so ******* badly it’s not even funny. And **** yall who gaslit me and said otherwise after Roy retired lol

Fire Hubert b

In all seriousness, I expect he'll get another year unless the season goes completely off the rails, which it still might

I like Wes and I'm sure he'll be in consideration but I'd be surprised if they don't conduct a wide search next go-round

I mean that big man at Washington is apparently getting $2M in NIL. Wouldn’t be surprised if some random euros that are good and aren’t making that type of bread would take a look at college ball. Just at Green Bay now but it’ll eventually spread, until NCAA puts a ruling on it.

Wes just seems like the obvious choice if they’re trying to keep it in the family

So a subpar, 20+ year old, multi year professional can come from overseas and play college ball? Didn’t know that. Not an issue now, but it definitely will be. Why play overseas for whatever when you can come here and make 2 million to play in college? 23 year old can come here and make a mill a year for 4 years and go back home. Not made at the come up but damn. And if that guy is any good at all he won’t be at Green Bay long.

Imagine Luka coming over and playing for the highest bidder. And Luka was college age.
