The College Basketball Post

Very proud of Cal. He fleeced Kentucky and now getting a bigger bag with fewer expectations aka Cal Special.

They'll say no, but gotta ask Dan Hurley and Billy Donovan.

Maybe Sean Miller?

Yeah Hurley isn't leaving UConn unless it’s for the NBA. Scott Drew of Brad Underwood wouldn't be terrible, but those guys are probably the 3rd or 4th option

Cal was a major disappointment at Kentucky. We all assumed that with their resources and his ability to recruit they would win more than one title.

Why would Kentucky give cal a contract that doesn’t include a buyout clause if he’s hired away from another school?

Ego, they never thought he'd leave them for someone else.

But tbh right now I don't think they are too upset over it. They haven't been out of the first weekend in 5 years.

Kentucky is a top 3 job so I get it, but damn bruh. You’re gonna let a top 5 coach in the game who turned around your program from the dark ages, walk for nothing?

Plus, ain’t no telling what type of buyout Kentucky is gonna have to trigger and pay for whatever coach they’re looking at

They getting Mike Woodson and calling it a day

Feel like they shoulda just kept Muss
Arkansas didn’t have a choice
