Cal brings his best player off the bench and doesn’t run things through him. Kansas isn’t good but they’ve been playing without Mcculler but they weren’t impressive before he got banged up. Ugly win for the Cougs, but it basically secured them a spot in the tourney. If Kyle Smith isn't COTY, then just get rid of the award. Dude lost eight players from last year's team, and still managed to go neck and neck with Arizona (beating them twice) for the regular season Pac-12 title. The ASU game is a blemish, but if they close against UCLA and UW (both home games) and win just two Pac-12 tourney games, they're a 4/5 seed. At worst, they're a 8/9 seed.
