Nick Richards has had ample opportunity to flourish at UK, he's started like 40 games in 2 years. His competition for minutes has been Sasha Killeya Jones and Reid Travis. And he'll have all the minutes he wants AGAIN next season. But sure, he's "stuck".
So its cool for a McDs AA like Kennedy Meeks to stay 4 years at UNC, for kids like Luke Maye, Joel Berry, or Harrison Barnes etc etc to stay extra years in Chapel Hill... but let a raw, project player stay at UK for 3 years and he's "stuck".

Grimes was disappointing last season. He had too many cats in his ear gassing him to go to the league when he wasn't ready. He might be a 3-4 year player.

And that’s why these kids better be very strategic with who they surround themselves with because once the 1 and done rule is gone some of these kids will get a kick in the nuts. They’re lucky that they’ll be able to return to school if undrafted

Richards has not been draftable to this point and most likely will not be. Each time he touches the ball it is like the first time he's ever seen one. When he is in the game and someone is getting a layup or dunk if you were to freeze the frame Richard's back is usually to the play. He goes hunting blocks and bites on every pump fake taking himself out of the play as the ball bounces past him to an open man under the rim.Mans is stuck like Poythress. Should have left after his freshman year.
He is an ultra athletic 7-footer. He also has a nice set shot that he can hit all day in practice and from the free throw line. It has fallen for him in actual play one time that I can remember. So maybe he's hit two.
