The College Basketball Post

All the money Phil Knight makes from both Oregon and Duke apparel alone is probably insane :x

Duke is lucky they got the draw they even did, was prime for a upset if given a harder matchup.

I get you guys lost Amile but Plumlee is a more capable big than a lot of guys left in the tourney. Great PG's make life easy in CBB, he didn't have that this year like he did last year where he could sit back and let Tyus run the show. But he still underachieved with this group, things just never flowed on the court for a talented group.

Just hoping Harry does the right thing and takes the year off and just enters the draft. No reason to risk another knee injury.

BSox : What is Maryland looking like for next season ?
A bit hard to say, but the team will probably be middle of the pack in the Big Ten. I assume Melo and Stone are going to go to the draft, so that means we will lose Trimble/Sulaimon/Layman/Stone. As far as incoming freshman (at the moment) we have Anthony Cowan, Kevin Huerter, and Micah Thomas. PG-SG-SF respectively. From everything I've heard, Cowan is supposed to be a smaller version of Melo and is putting up similar performances in the WCAC as he did. Huerter is a good shooter and just got named Mr. Basketball in New York. MD is also in the running for 5 star Terrance Ferguson who decomitted from Alabama. I'm sure they will also bring in a transfer or two that will be able to contribute right away. Dion Wiley should be a good contributor too. They really could've used him on this year's team. As of right now, starting lineup will be something like this-

Brantley/Cowan
Wiley
Nickens
Carter
Dodd

Perrentes been one of my favorite point guards for a few years. His game is so smooth and controlled.

Virginia scored 45 in a half?! That's got to be a school record right?

Man the first round was so much better than the recent garbage in the later rounds

Niang looking like Perry Ellis last night....they do have something in common...
