During a January 15th, 2015, broadcast of a Colorado-Arizona basketball game on ESPN, Pasch stated that he did not believe in evolution, after being given a copy of Charles Darwin's "The Origin of Species" by fellow broadcaster Bill Walton.[5] Pasch cited irreducible complexity, a concept rejected by the scientific community at large.[6]
