The Air Jordan Citrus VII

By far the Citrus Sevens are THE hardest shoe to match just because the yellow/orange mixed with red is.........weird

and believe me it's kind of rare they look good in jeans with a matching shirt or polo,because they are hardly any decent clothes to go with these.....


We all have different views on these but what is it that you don't like?

The all over contrast stitching or what........

Worst retro IMO is the Ceramic Pearl whites.....the white look worn and dirty fresh out the box.......

Some of you guys are goin for the kill w/ all the matching...

I hate white shoes but Cardinal VII's are still NICE.

Bordeaux are terrible...they would sit on clearance if it was a Retro+ colorway.

The citrus stitching was whack. I passed. Eddie Jones wore a pair back in 2002, with blk stitching.

the best retro+ for me were the flints, and those wmns white maize colorway I passed on the citruses simply because they looked kinda wack to me

Just not into retro+ colorways anymore.
If it aint OG than it aint copped.

Either way I copped on RD, still like and wear them.

i disagree. AO17 nailed it for a non og color 7. french blue all day. citrus is alright but ill take my 2002 blk/reds any day over them.

yeah right. i was in the 4th grade when Mj got drafted. i watched him through all the struggles all the way up until his retirement x 2. been therethrough all of the OG colorways. when i was able to buy on my own... i copped what i liked. which was limited becauseof the red/blk colorways. My fav color is blue so i am always gonna like blue colored J's as opposed to the red colors. og does not = better or greatest.it's all about personal preference. as i said before there are retro + colors that crush some og colors. The iii's are untouchable as are theiv's! but take the xi's for example. there are two retro + colors that imo destroy the "og's" 1. Space Jams and the Cool Greys. the onlyxi that i 'd take over these (maybe) are OG Columbias. on to the xii. the blk/caro color > blk/red. vii's? french blues>>"red/blk/purp. i could go on. but it's whatever. like i said og does equal better and it's all about preference.

There was a ton out to match these, shorts, sweatpants, tees, fitteds, and I'm sure even socks. I don't really like these at all, and the only VII toget 2x of it definitely Blk/Rds or Olys, never those.

i don't see why everyone is hating on cirtus VII's!? obviously they aren't as prestige as some hares or bordeauxs, but thats not what this threadwas ever about. IMO, every 02 and 06 retro VII is worth copping (pacific VII's are on the verge) and I can't say that about every recent retro of thepast 8 years...

Miami heat colorway, easy to put together outfits wit these. One of my fav. colorway, I bought 4 pair when they came out. down to three now.

The citrus VII's are nice but I wouldnt copp more than 1 pair,
I only copped 1,
but i copped 3 of the chambrays and 2 of the white/grey/purple,
so yea,,
The chambrays are the best VII`s following the bordeaux,,
and as far as what to wear with the citrus,
I wear a black lacoste polo with a dark orange under tee {orange looks exactly like the citrus orange}
with a dark jean, I rock them in a black/grey tinted pascal style guess jean,,
they dont make those jeans any more so try looking in a guess outlet

I think it would have been the "Raptor" but they messed up the colors of the OG....
