Thunder sending Detroit's 2019 second-round pick to Boston. OKC acquired the selection in the Reggie Jackson-Kyle Singler-D.J. Augustin deal

I love how the Celtics and Thunder are slowly becoming two of the worst-managed franchises in the NBA, when they should have had every reason to succeed in their rebuilds.

The Thunder are one of the worst managed franchises in the NBA?

No way PG survives in NYC, dude would have 5 bottle waitresses from uptown pregnant before the preseason starts.
Cotdamn!

The Clippers are also expected to sign second-round draft pick Branden Dawson within the week after his strong showing in Orlando.

Energy guy, at the very most. Izzo hated him last year. Never learned from his mistakes, and then the tournament happened and that's all anybody remembers.

Everyone could use an energy guy and being a 50th pick or whatever he was is pretty good value

He's looked lit thus far in SL. That's all he needs to be an energy player

Tell me about all of the good things they've done in the past three years.
Yea, but the hyperbole there is pretty drastic. They've been pretty unlucky with injuries. We all know that the Harden move was dumb.

Wait, you guys are surprised at OKC being called a bad front office but not Boston?
OKC front office been doodoo. Two good drafts however many years ago don't count.
Boston traded two declining stars for a gazillion draft pics. I haven't seen a bad deal in recent history. How's Boston doing a bad job??

Two good drafts from OKC??? :eek :eek

KD, Westbrook, Ibaka, Harden, hell even Reggie Jackson ... then we still have to see how Adams & McGary play out but they're looking like solid bigs.

only 2 good drafts?
Russ and KD. No other player that they've drafted has become a star for their team. Good draft = star player. No "they drafted a solid second man off the bench!" nonsense, then everyone has had good drafts

If you include Harden then you have to include letting him go

drafted steven adams and mitch mcgary.. fired scotty

Oh, they fired their coach? They got McGary flying around now? That one time they picked somebody good in Adams? That's three years of good moves!

Oh, no wait. They're in a small market and have two stars and need to strike while the iron's hot. Who cares if we all like S.Adams, how does that move the needle in OKC right now? If you're Durant or Westbrook and see all of the super teams coming together for cheap elsewhere, how would the Thunder's last three years of transactions look to you?

How many stars are even in a draft every year??
Doesn't matter. The OKC front office is booty. People saying they draft well isn't true if you only have two great players from however many years ago. No great free agent has come there. They haven't made any great trades. Nah.

LOL. 97% of the league takes OKC's F.O. if that's what one of the worst FO's in the league looks like.
