People need to stop posting this graphic. The reason LeBron hasn't beaten many 50-win teams in the postseason is because the Eastern Conference has been complete garbage his entire career. Since 2006, LeBron's first playoff run, the East has never had more than four teams make the playoffs with 50+ wins. And that includes LeBron's teams. Most seasons, it's only been one or two other teams. If the maximum number of 50-win teams you can play is one, maybe two, per playoff run, then it's kind of hard to compete with someone like Kobe, who has gone through Western Conferences where every playoff team has 50+ wins.
Now, let's look at the teams LeBron lost to in the playoffs. A 64-win Pistons team in '06, a 58-win Spurs team in '07, a 66-win Celtics team in '08, a 59-win Magic team with a peak Dwight Howard in '09, a 57-win Dallas team in 2011, a 62-win Spurs team in 2014, and a 67-win Warriors team in 2015 (playing without his two best teammates). His only "bad" loss (record-wise) was in 2010, the infamous Celtics series that was just bizarre to watch. But he's actually beaten pretty much every team he should have beaten. It's not his fault his conference sucks and is so top heavy.
Everything you just said is the entire point of the graphic.
Unless you just wrote a very clever 2 paragraph joke. If that's the case, I found it funny.
Christ this is a stupid and useless graphic
All you proved is that Lebron can beat weak teams and not strong teamsPeople need to stop posting this graphic. There goes MKG's shoulder.
Which ironically is the entire point of the graphic he's complaining about. He barely plays truly good teams and then when he does he loses anyways so the graphic is still accurate. All you proved is that Lebron can beat weak teams and not strong teamsPeople need to stop posting this graphic. Not in the context it's commonly used on NT (and the Internet in general). But thanks.
Might as well call lance, Austin, and Jamal B2k. Gonna be a whole lot of dancing with the ball going on between the 3 of them.
