The Bulls paid Derrick Rose $52.8 million for the last 3 seasons in which he missed 75% of the team's games.

Who do you guys got for playoff seeding?

West:
1. Thunder: New coach will make the most of off the rotation players while KD and Russ will do their thing under a new system. Russ will have an MVP season
2. Warriors: expect more of the same. Coaches contemplating game plans to stop curry, maybe see different strategies to slow him down
3. Clips: Deandre Jordan will have a disappointing season after all the drama this offseason
4. Rockets: Deep team. Can win it all if healthy
5. Spurs: Their PG position will be an issue. PGs will feast on the spurs the same way they used to feast on Fisher and the Lakers
6. Pelicans: Healthy Holiday and >D , better coach and improved AD
7. Memphis: I think they have a down year and take a step back. They have not improved at all.
8. Kings: Boggie and Coach will settle things and put it behind them. Rondo will play much better under a system that supports his style and he makes Gay and Ben look good.

Just missing it: Utah and PHX. Dallas will disappoint.

East:
1. Bulls:
2. Cleveland: LeBron will have his rest. The team is more experienced but they will continue to deal with injuries/ locker room problems
3. Miami: Possibly the strongest starting five in the east but weak bench. Health and Whiteside are the question marks
4. Washington: Their bigs are a year older, no Paul, Coach is hot and cold. If Beal and Otto can take the next step, they will make it far in the Playoffs
5. TBoston: They will continue to improve on what they built on last year
6. Atlanta: Last year's playoffs will hurt them this year. Unless they can get a go to guy, this team will have a 1st round exit
7. Detroit: they were clicking end of last year but with the injuries and Josh Smith leaving at the end of the season, it was too little too late. This year they bring it together Jackson will prove his contract and Drummond will be an all-star
8. Bucks: J Kidd will lead this team to the playoffs. Shooting will consistently be a problem. Even though they have a ton of length, Monroe and Parker and not the best defensive players and will face trouble there.

Toronto: I believe the GM will pull something via trade to improve this team or the exact opposite and rebuild like his original plan two years ago. Val will only get better if he gets touches. It's all on coach to set him up. Stop depending on Derozan, he is a great third option at best (See Odom and Iggy).

Indy and Charlotte will be close but they are not good enough to make it

Philly and Portland will compete for last spot.

Lakers and Knicks will disappear in that irrelevant zone (Philly taking Lakers pick!), Russell will struggle heavily first half of the season and so will Randle. Kobe will actually take it easy this year...but he will still speak his mind, especially with Hibbert. Clarkson will ball out.

Minny will be a ton of fun to watch, Waggins will take a big step forward.

Muduai and Jah will compete for rookies of the year

Why is Miami's bench weak?

In the East, you can do a lot worse than Winslow, Green, Stat, Chalmers, and whichever of Haslem/Bird/Mcbob earns minutes.

SVG will do to Drummond what he did to Dwight back in his Orlando days.

that bench doesn't really scare anyone. Winslow is a rook, Haslem, Bird and Stat are shells of themselves...Green might be ok under the right system...so Charlmers and Mcrob are the only reliable bench players (unless Winslow proves otherwise)

Amare and Tyler Johnson aren't bad either.. wouldn't be surprised if the other rookie Richardson contributes a bit. Winslow would usually be starting in most other situations so coming off the bench is a luxury

Most teams don't have benches that "scare" anyone. But they have at least 3 guys on their bench that along with their first 5....gives them an 8/9 man rotation that they can contend for the eastern conference with.

Yea their bench is fine to me.

That's true.

And I can see Winslow taking a ton of minutes giving DWade the rest he usually needs

Also, if Clips were to trade Crawford...it should be for a Small forward. Having Wesley Johnson as your starter will not win you a championship. And with PP potentially playing PF...you don't have much to work with unless you have Lance at SF.

If the Clips trade Crawford it should be for a big not a small forward. Between PP, Lance, JJ can guard a bit, Jamal can't guard but he's another wing, and Wesley they have a lot of wings already. That's not counting if Luc makes the team. Wesley was a borderline elite shooter with LAL (Especially when he was open) and should be that with LAC with the amount of open looks he'll get. He also should be able to be a plus defender on the wing as well.

George Karl gave DeMarcus Cousins an "A+" for his offseason work. Said relationship is solid and improving
— Jason Jones (@mr_jasonjones) September 28, 2015
Asked Cousins if his relationship with Karl is better than it was a couple of months ago. His response: "He's my man."
— Deuce Mason (@DeuceMason) September 28, 2015

George karl, if nothing else, is the thug whisperer. That is the story of his coaching career.

Dudley was also asked to name the worst dresser or most disgusting teammate from his career, and he immediately had an answer.

“Adam Morrison,” Dudley called out,
naming a teammate from the 2008-09 Charlotte Bobcats. “Remember Adam Morrison? He never took showers, he did the chewing tobacco that he spit all the time, and he wore the same three polos the whole year. This is a guy who made a lot of money, too, at that time. He was the face of diabetes, he was doing everything, he was on the cover of college games, he was [everywhere], and he was by far the worst and [most] disgusting.”

Grant Paulsen then pointed out that if Morrison wasn’t receiving many minutes, this might not have been a big deal.

“He was playing when I was there, that’s the thing, he was playing,” Dudley said. “He then tore his ACL, that’s when he didn’t play, but he was playing when I was there. He was playing like 30 minutes a game. Gerald Wallace had to force him to take a shower one time. Had to force him. Imagine that. Imagine forcing a grown man to take a shower. He should be ashamed of himself."

:Lol :x
