34 days until NBA season:
Dwyane Wade turns 34 this season, playing on 1-yr/$20M deal. Wade has never been Heat's highest-paid player.

i wonder how much of that money goes to his homeless ex wife and nail polish for his feet
As a rookie, Curry ranked 80th in the NBA in FG% on layups (min. 100 att). Last year he ranked 6th. It's almost like he worked on that.
BTW last year James Harden ranked 108th on FG % on lay-ups. That sounds bad until you realize as a rookie he was literally last (199th).
Adam ReisingerAlso while I'm looking up lay-up stats, in Curry's rookie year, the league leader in FG% on layups was Steve Nash: 72.7%
Hornets guard Jeremy Lin gets help from Stephen Curry, other stars on how to fit in the NBA

If Tony Allen is making more layups than you, there's a problem.
(and I'm a huge TA fan, he just seems to miss one or three a game)

SI.com: You’re also entertaining on fast breaks because, I’m sorry to say it, you have missed a lot of breakaways. I heard you on the Chris Vernon Show the other day, on the radio in Memphis, saying the team has a system now where you have to pay $100 for every missed breakaway. Whose idea was that?
Allen: It was Marc Gasol. We were in the training room one day, and he said, “I know what I’ll do to make you stop missing those layups. Every time you miss one, you have to pay everyone on the team $100.” I said, “OK,” and right after that, we played New York, and I’ll never forget: I got a wide-open layup and I missed it.
SI.com: How much money are we at now?
Allen: I don’t know.
SI.com: Have you paid? Or is it a running tab?
Allen: It’s a running tab. We’ll deal with it when we get our playoff shares
Would be cool to see either KD or D-Rose get a ring this year.
to be fair most of the time his eyes are closed and he's just throwing the ball up trying to get to the ft lineAs a rookie, Curry ranked 80th in the NBA in FG% on layups (min. 100 att). Last year Tyreke Evans missed 289 layups (shot 55% on 644 attempts). That's bananas.
