It makes sense, PP needs to be saved for the playoffs

Plus they can play him at the 4 off the bench

Doc Rivers recently told the Boston Globe he wanted to use Pierce as a small-ball four.

“I don’t want to overuse him, I know that,” he said to the Globe. “I don’t even know how we’re going to use him yet. I’m going to play him at (power forward) a lot, but what I want him to be is healthy in the playoffs. So however we can figure that out, that’s what I’m going to try to do. I’m really looking forward to it.”
Healthy legs Pp in the playoff is quite intriguing.

Yay/nay... PP is old as dirt.

Perfectly fine. Wes surrounded by CP3, Blake, and Jordan will cover his issues, and saves Pierce for late in games, and more importantly, late in season.

Let Wes run around burnin minutes in November, December, etc games 1-65, and then start to ramp up Pierce's role as money time comes.

No championship team will have Wes anything more than a role of a mascot or cheerleader. He will eventually get benched.

NT has a tough time comprehending anything other than black and white some times

Clippers have to have the 1 seed though right? Having Wes on the floor in any capacity kills any chance of that.

Even with PP starting, if you kill your team to get the 1 seed (which isn't even a given) what will you have left in June (if you can get there)

Rather take my chances reserving legs. Clippers even as a 3 seed last year, should have advanced to the conference finals. Don't think chasing the 1 seed is worth running everyone into the dirt

Playing Pierce at PF might hurt him in the long run more than starting.

They don't have to play him there full time, nor does it sound like they will. Doc clearly is thinking about moving him around. Probably depending on matchups

Exactly. Nothing is set in stone and with the roster that he's put together, Doc has a lot of options. I'm sure he's going to let the games and match-ups dictate who he plays and where.

I'm late but the Bulls shouldn't have won that nba logo poll imo.

I don't think it was a poll - just Chad Zach Lowe's opinion.

Chad low is Rob Lowe's brother, I believe.

Poll was the wrong word but still.

I also don't know who Chad Lowe is outside of his name being said in an episode of American Dad

It's Zach Lowe and who cares? It's one dude's opinion, even though he did ask graphic designers and logo creators for input on the logos themselves (not where they should be ranked, but strictly from a design perspective).

If not the Bulls, then who should have gotten #1?

The wildest thing about that list was having the hornets as #2

I believe this is one of the most up in the air years for the chip. GS,OKC,SA,HOU,LAC all could be in the finals.

I wonder if Chicago or Miami can challenge Cleveland. I still believed that Chicago should of beat Cleveland without KLOVE. And Atlanta SMH. How you don't get one win? I know Bron is great but without Kyrie they should of went atleast 6 games.

And I wonder if Lebron going to come out hungry for a third this year after losing the last two finals.

Clippers and Spurs ain't getting to the Finals lol. Clippers gonna mess around and do Clippers things and you gotta remember, Spurs play team basketball, while Aldridge needs to have a high usage rate to be effective. The loss of Splitter will hurt, as he was very familiar with the system and paired well with Duncan. There will be growing pains, they'll be a 5-6 seed.

And not too many people noticed, but the loss of Sefolosha really did hurt the Hawks. Whenever Carroll went on the bench, Atlanta had to place Kent freaking Bazemore on Lebron for stretches, with coincided with the Cavs building up their leads. The Hawks may not have won the series, but they would have had a chance at winning a game or 2.
