Undersized backcourt, not a great shooting team and not a great defensive team. This is about the mavs so no need to bring up other teams have the same roster together for the most part, mavs have 3 new starters and are unproven.

Lin isn't as bad as y'all make him to be. It's the "cool" thing to say "he sucks" now.

You seem emotionally involved in this and are starting to get defensive but I'll entertain you nonetheless. I don't watch espn so I really don't know what that comment was supposed to mean. Are you denying that they're undersized, not great at shooting/defending?

If you read between the lines, what I'm saying is that they will be vulnerable to teams with bigger/better backcourts (sas, gsw, pdx, hou, lac, mem) and teams that force them to shoot. All the teams that have proven to be better than them last year are still better than them until proven otherwise. they all have better rosters than the mavs imo

For example the spurs are off to a slow start but they've obviously proven themselves so I give them the benefit of the doubt compared to the mavs who are a question mark, borderline 8th seed that added some guys who I don't feel are all that good so I would like to see them prove themselves against some real teams

Tough to compare him to a point/shooting guard but I think it's an interesting to discussion, as well as comparing him to other wings like Parsons/Hayward
