two different players. AI was a scoring guard through and through. An all time great though. We'll never see someone like that again at his size.

Think you meant CP can only do so much. WestbrooK is capable, Magic, Zeke, Stockton, Big O, Walt, Nash, Kidd were capable of doing so much and so much more.
The sooner the CP apologists get that through their head, the less slander he will continue to get. Or if hoods doughy hands continue to get in the way while he has a more than capable squad around him it may ratchet up even more...which I wouldn't mind at all.
Unless we have a hypothetical machine to determine if CP3 can/can't take that SAME team AI led to the finals, we can't use THAT as a determining factor as to why AI is better. Is CP3 better than Iverson? He took a team to the finals. And he was clearly the best player on the 76ers team. At 5'10.
You're acting like Cp3 hasn't performed in the playoffs. Actually look at the details in those playoffs instead of just throwing out names that have advanced one more round lol.
Westbrook is still not better than Cp3.
you've seen Oscar and Clyde play?
Yea 2 way different players. But still PGs and Iverson had more heart. Which is why he could put a team on his back and go to finals. AI never played on a team with as much talent as this Clippers team CP3 is on.two different players. AI was a scoring guard through and through. An all time great though. We'll never see someone like that again at his size.
Again, you do understand that Iverson played in a less competitive conference when his team went to the finals.Yea 2 way different players. But still PGs and Iverson had more heart. Which is why he could put a team on his back and go to finals. AI never played on a team with as much talent as this Clippers team CP3 is on.
my point is when people say chris paul is top ___ but just hasnt gone deep in the playoffs because his team sucks, its really because cp3 is not better than the other teams best player(s)Without a doubt.
yes, becausewestbrook and kd are better than cp and blake
But if we both know that, why are we blaming CP3 for not "winning the series." I am not following your logic here.
Now ur just Buggin, first it was, players before the 80s don't count. Then it was the playoffs don't count. Now it's the fact AI was in the Eastern conference when he led his team to the finals with a 34 year old Mutumbo as his sidekick.Again, you do understand that Iverson played in a less competitive conference when his team went to the finals.
And please, do not discredit how great of a defensive team that 76ers squad was.
I saw him not perform in the biggest game last year and literally fumble the game away.
Russ is waaaaaay better than CP, you're right.
no one cares about his assist to to ratio before he threw the game, point is he lost the gameDude had an uncharacteristic mind f***. He had like 17 asst to 1 turnover before that crazy last 15seconds where it was a combination of bad basketball and horrible refeeing. I could understand if Russ actually led his team to a chip you know. But playing on a better team, and with KD..the 2nd best player in this league has something to do with him advancing. Since that's all you seem to look at.I saw him not perform in the biggest game last year and literally fumble the game away.
Russ is waaaaaay better than CP, you're right.
chris paul plays in the hardest conference in the hardest era and has only played with scrub teammatesNow ur just Buggin, first it was, players before the 80s don't count. Who said the playoffs didn't count? I said winning matters. I explicitly said that. Now ur just Buggin, first it was, players before the 80s don't count. Then it was the playoffs don't count. i dont blame cp for the clippers not going anywhere because i have no expectations for him to be able to lead his team on a deep playoff run
but for someone who says chris paul is better than this guy and that guy and only loses because his team sucks then my answer would be that cp is to blame because him not being the best player in the series is a major reason to why his teams always lose
if chris paul was just considered as a top tier pg then no one would have any problem with that, but since people do compare him to all time great pgs (like magic and IT) as well as the nba's current best players (like lebron, kobe) that is why people consider him underrated. because if he actually was as great as one of the four guys i just listed then his teams would be considered championship contenders
chris paul plays in the hardest conference in the hardest era and has only played with scrub teammates
he has had to overcome racism, obesity and hurricane katrina
there is no man on earth who has had more factors holding him back than chris paul, because of this we have to blame literally everything and anything else for his lack of success
See why do you have to resort to all of that when we are trying to have a mature conversation man.

HE didn't lose the game. The TEAM lost the game. Basketball is a TEAM sport.
no one cares about his assist to to ratio before he threw the game, point is he lost the game
believe it or not, winning basketball games is more important than having a high PER when it comes to advancing in the playoffs. who would have thought
