We can just end the discussion here because we have different ideas of what it takes a team to be successful.

I believe the entire team performing well, role players included, pushes a team toward victory.

From what I am gathering, you believe it rests on the shoulders of the star players.

I can't agree with that. You are entitled to your thoughts though. Respect 

for sure. its not that role players dont matter but its on the star/leader to create that atmosphere where role players can succeed 

thats the reason why you have great role players on teams like the lakers, heat and spurs that go on to lesser teams and get exposed as scrubs

its so easy to say "dont blame lebron, he has that bum mario chalmers as pg and joel anthony as his center", but lebron was great enough to elevate the play of the role players around him and get a couple rings out of it. 

same with nash, look at all the players that have been over paid because teams actually thought they were good but really they just played alongside steve nash and the dantoni system
