Of course they forget this, and the reason is that they do not want to admit that Dwight's defensive presence covered up plenty of mistakes. Hedo could not defend to save his life, and the same for Lewis.Dwight took a team to the FINALS.

Last night, Dwight did what he should have done while with the Lakers. As soon as Kobe began to spout off to the media about what was going on behind the scenes last year, Dwight should have belted him right in the mouth. That is the only thing that Kobe will respect, the threat of his getting his *** whupped. We all know guys like this, if you are emotional with him, then trying to use reason, he'll take advantage of you. Kick him in his butt, he then fears and then respects you.
The elbow was nice to see, but the follow up will be even more interesting, if Howard really want to finish the mamba.

League isn't in trouble until the Pelicans improve their guard play. You're not doing anything in the West with 1 big time guy surrounded by perimeter players ranging from average to mediocre.
Jrue is the only other all star on the roster, and that appearance came in the weaker conference when Rose & Rondo were hurt.

I kinda fear that AD will be stuck in a mediocre team and have to carry them to the post season only to be bounce in a 1st or 2nd round, like how KG used to back in the Minny days.

I give the most credit of the success of that Orlando team to SVG..Dwight took a team to the FINALS.

he literally structured the perfect team around Dwight, covering his deficiencies while allowing him to excel at the things he does excel at.. then they allowed the other guys to do what they are good to great at
Houston should have done everything in their power to get SVG and then get Anderson from the pelicans in the asik trade

My comment has nothing to do with the Pelicans team, it was more so in regards to how AD is about to dominate the league. I couldn't care less about what the Pelicans do as a team

that's exactly what I meant when I said "then they allowed the other guys to do.."
the other guys were really only being asked "to do what they are good to great at".. everything made sense about what they were doing and what they asked of the players on that team based on their strengths and weaknesses
as I said, "he literally structured the perfect team around Dwight".. I thought Houston had the chance of being that, but on steroids.. but thank god for morey and mchale

As soon as someone says something like this, they are afraid. They know that they have no other recourse but to insult someone, and when a guy says this to another guy, it is done in retreat.
