With the combination of the 3 weeks suspension and Simmons not working weekends, I guess this Pacers preview is the last one? I figured it was going to be tough to get the rest of the previews in by opening night...
Nah. No way they stop at the Pacers. What would be the point in doing previews and not do them all.
I have faith they will finish it even if it takes 3 weeks.
Did you watch the end of the Pacers video? They were promoting the show on thursday at 7 on espn in it's place...
He wasn't hated when he first came in? Didn't Chris Childs and Reggie Miller chin check him?Im loving all this Kobe hate as his career is coming to an end.
He wasn't hated when he first came in? Didn't Chris Childs and Reggie Miller chin check him?
Correct me if I am wrong.
The question was if this is simply happening as his career is at the end, as was stated.Chris Child's fight was 2000
Reggie Miller fight 2002
How is this "when he first came in"

Where's all those nerds with the stat charts explaining how Kobe will be buns this year?
My G looked pretty damn good yesterday.
I thought he was hated because he snitched on Shaq, right?Hes always been "hated" for no reason though. Just because hes good, a hard worked, and a perfectionist?
funny how as his career is winding down the media is just ganging up on him like never before as if anything has changed or happened to bring it on
Nash hasn't really done anything for the Lakers, but it seems as if Kobe is kind of anti social. On Steve Nash: "In the days before LA acquired Nash, sources say, the point guard wanted to hear from Bryant that the Lakers' star was amenable to having Nash control the ball much of the time -- a key tenet of the D'Antoni offense from the Suns days. When Lakers brass asked Bryant to call Nash, Bryant failed to do so, saying he preferred that Nash call him. The pettiness took days to resolve and nearly scuttled the deal."

Anyway, I found this interesting.

what does it say? ive seen articles about no one wants to play with kobe, the lakers are the worst in the league and it's his fault, and all types of other random ish everywhere. and kobe being the ultimate competitor was nonsense? not sure what the ultimate competitor is but if there is a such thing, it probably is kobe.
Eh "ultimate competitor" implies you would do anything to win, thats not really the case with kobe, Kobe would do anything think so that he is the REASON for winning.
and becuase of that he's hostile to other great players.
Kobe is more like the ultimate capitalist, Bird/Magic are competitors, they do what it takes to win, Kobe does what it takes for personal glory and that becomes more and more obvious the older he gets.
stopped after the third line. MJ does ______ to win; Kobe does the exact same thing to make himself look good.TruthEh "ultimate competitor" implies you would do anything to win, thats not really the case with kobe, Kobe would do anything think so that he is the REASON for winning
MJ was about winning at all costs. Hyper competitive disorder. His legacy was byproduct.
Kobe is about making Kobe look good first, his legacy and winning a byproduct.
Defines their difference. One is the real thing, the other is cover band version.
He wouldn't have signed that ridiculous contract if he was actually interested in competing for championships.
Dwight is a clown who I don't respect but his talent is undeniable. If Kobe wanted to win rings he would've found a way to make it work. Adapt your leadership style to that clown.
It's why PJ said MJ was the better leader. Players naturally wanted to fall in line to his alpha. His charisma was disarming. As organic as gravity.
Meanwhile through skill, obsessive hard work Kobe without the innate gifts of LeBron or Jordan attempts to convince teammates and perception he's this great leader. In reality he alienates himself from his teammates.
Kobe plays the game selfishly. And it's not just due to the shot selection or volume of FGA.
Still great but inferior ball player to LeBron and Jordan. In that essence I get why he's alienating and viewed as a basketball villain.
Can't knock the hustle and work ethic though. That's admirable.
Kobe being hated for "no reason". That's funny

I tried to read this, but I think you are saying that it is a psychological disorder?he is. its a complex thinf, where guys spught isolation n used obsession as a defense. kobe was n is narcisstic. he comes off arrogant which hurts people. had he not done that crome n not tatooed himself, kobe wouldve been much more lovable.
guus looking way too much into it
Didn't he grow up in Italy? How much time did he spend in Philly? I really do not know his background that well.it's that philly swagger bean has
bron is not gonna have as long or as productive of a career in the later stages, as kobe. kobe has no athleticism left and is working dudes on pure skill.
bron is gonna need to develop a game where he doesnt rely on running over people in order to play as long as kobe.
