What about dudes who call other dudes daddy?

It's gotta just be a New York thing. First time I heard it was listening to the lox, then some NY said it in real life I was amazed.

Even though I've heard people in the south use the term lil' daddy, and that's just as off-putting.

Someone tried to tell me it was short for cat-daddy, but that's something 40 year olds who still sell drugs say because they're stuck on that late 80s early 90s slang.

I think it's reaching if you feel that it is racist when white people use it because buddy is not a racial slur or derogatory.

However there has been one occasion where a white person has said "bro" to me before and I could definitely tell he was being racist with how he was using it and how he confronted me. He definitely wanted to call me something else, but that is just one occasion and I have never had a problem with anyone else that was white saying that to me though.

How was it said to you OP?

So because he said "bro" sarcastically/rudely that makes him racist?

Apparently any word can be considered racist.

No, the guy actually admitted that he did not like black people and wanted to call me (insert racial slur) but I was with a group of people and he was by himself. Like I said. The word itself or buddy is not racist.

:{ What a loser. I hate racism man...

I think the best part is that he wouldn't because he was alone :lol

Racist cowards :lol :{

It does bother me when people call me boss though.

I just want to give them the :| and say "we don't even work together."

even paki dawg.... this thread has me raging
Are you kidding me right now? How do you get paranoid over someone calling you buddy and yet feel it's acceptable to post that word?

And could someone tell me why the hell isn't that word on the banned list? NT bans just about every arbitrary word that could even be remotely considered offensive, yet that blatantly discriminatory racist word is allowed.
