What also makes all these terror incidents with vehicles running people over so troubling is that it's very easy to replicate. Anyone who can drive could do this. No bombs or guns involved, which also makes these type of attacks harder to prevent I think, since it involves far less planning.

That is nuts. I don't live in a big city but I try to avoid walking along high traffic roads. I also walk closer to the buildings/walls. I'd be the last the get plowed and have some extra time to react. Any other ways to prepare for this ****?

My cousins were already home in Molins de Rei, a suburb of Barcelona, but I checked on them since they work in the city.

i've been there and I have no idea how you could do that in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. that street was near the city center if im not mistaken and those streets are always packed...really scary to think someone would do this there
