TENNIS - Roland Garros: The 2009 French Open

I watched a bit of SC this morning and saw that Roddick got to the 4th round at the French for the first time ever? Anyone been watching his matches? Does helook like he's on a mission or something?

Probably still won't be able to beat Federer or Nadal, but it's good to see he's still there...You never know I guess.

wow de ja vu for serena

Her opponent cheated her just like justine did her

I have no respect for these female players at all

Yo what happened? I turned it on late and seen a bunch of commotion......

Sanchez came to the net serena ripped a pass (

) at her body
It hit her arm and went in on serenas side to break her

Serena told chair to ask if it hit her arm
Sanchez just walks to her chair
Didn't hone up to it

Serena told chair "that's not cool dude, she better NOT come to the net again"

Now that Novak is out, it looks like it will be another Rafa-Fed final. Rafa-Novak would have been a better final, IMO. They're matches in MC, Rome andespecially Madrid were awesome. Oh well, I have a feeling Rafa will straight-set Fed again in the final. He won't bagel him like he did last year though. Now that was total domination..

Good to see Andy Roddick comin through to the 4th round.

Monfils vs Roddick will be a good match.

Monfils facing A-Rod? damn that's gonna be a hell of a match....

Monfils diving rally got top spot on SC's top 10

As much as I despise Serena, the ball did appear to hit her opponent's arm...

Anyway... looks like Fed's got a clear path to the finals...

Its afreakin conspiracy, I tell ya...

Hopefully, Monfils will have a shotat taking him down... but first he has to get by roddick... Meanwhile, Rafa has to deal with Verdasco and potentially murray...

they played a few months ago too ... rafa smacked him 6-0,6-1 ... wow

Roger easily has his 14th now. djokovic is the only other player who could take him and he's out

nothing comes easy for roger these days .... but i hope so ... they were already talking about rafa going for the slam

The disappointing thing about these type of upsets is that while Soderling played like a possessed man today... a lot of times, these players aren't ableto reproduce these 'career' performances in the next round, sometimes going down in straight sets. I certainly hope this isn't the case for him. He will likely meet Verdasco in the quarters and if he gets past him, Murray in the semis...

Roddick has had a pretty quiet and efficient road thus far... who knows, he might be able to pull an upset on Fed.

OH MY GOD. BIGGEST UPSET EVER.

Soderling? Of all people to beat Rafa it was %$*$#!@ Soderling? Look, Rafa showed that he was vulnerable at times this clay court season but for him to lose atRG to Soderling doesn't make any %$*$#!@ sense. Not only is movement suspect but Rafa killed him in Rome by 0 & 1.

I want a damn investigation into match fixing.
