Mans talking bout Game when its Dipset Appreciation going on :smh:

Mane s/o Jones and Freekey :pimp:

Hyperbole aside. We weren't messing with Dipset like that until Certified Gangstas. Everybody loved G Unit tho
I can concur with this. I live in the Bay Area and radio never played Dipset but played G Unit all the time. I didn't get into Dipset till when they were practically done and I was able to just pirate their whole catalog which was mostly just Cam's stuff.

G Unit was the real deal. I remember joining a G Unit forum. They had a clothing line.

50 had video games bruh. A motion picture son.

Dipset was big, but not G Unit level.

I guess he had Big Soulja beat in that department

Damn, tough, G-unit and dipset were both huge in NY. I think as far as movement in NY maybe dipset had it though.

I don't know how it was for the rest of the country but nobody in NYC/NJ was really wearing those stupid G-Unit spaghetti strap tanks or those Reebok shoes.

I'm also pretty sure the video game and movie both bombed.

He did get paid for Vitamin Water since he was the spokesman for that Grape Flavor.

But yeah, I have to agree his name carried a lot of weight back then and it's not that G-Unit the brand was big, but more-so 50 Cent = G-Unit were the same thing to a lot of people. With that said, Dipset all day and for life.

Juelz low key jump started chris browns whole career
meh. not really
you could've put a number of rappers on that song and it would've still been a hit...especially bigger rappers in that era

and im not sure why g-unit vs dipset is even a thing
50 by himself is bigger than the whole dipset

That is true. G-Unit as a group was very meh but 50 was the anchor and his hype was just insane at the time. In the Bay Area from what I saw, no one could really could take Cam'ron serious even though Cam's radio hits were played on our radio waves like with Oh Boy and Hey Ma. Also you have to factor that Eminem was huge as well as Dre which ultimately made 50 bigger as well.

I can vividly remember the night In Da Club dropped. Flex dropped about 2 million bombs and ran that **** back for like 45 minutes. The next day at school, you got clowned if you didn't hear it.

No one in Dipset ever did that to NYC.

G-unit never been on the dips level musically

the Dips ran NY in the early mid 2000s

not to mention they birthed the version of wayne people swore was the goat

50 aint never been better than Cam EVER!
