I would just like to say my grail of all grails came in the mail today! These were the shoes that got me into the shoe game 6+ years ago. These were thefirst 90s I ever wanted, but I never got em because their prices were

liked them but sold them.

to my knowledge, bacons did not come out 6 years ago? and when they dropped 3-4 years ago, micheal_ip was hooking everyone up on NT. price was about retail.

kaotic - if my memory serves me correctly, i believe the hyperstrikes dropped on november 15, 2003...which isn't quite 6 years, nor 3-4 years...so i guesswe both lose

-re-release is august 2006 which retailed for $205

one of the reasons i love the bacons is that dave had an ill concept for them and carried it out well, as opposed to stash's "concept" of "ilike blue, so i made a blue shoe."


you have to remember that at the time, most collabos were being done on dunks. this was before air maxes really became sought after by the mainstream.


i was looking for a video of his interview, or the pics on freshness, but they're gone. just as well, i guess, posting anything more might double or triplethe already hype price.
