Since I'm school I usually have the usual opener of talking about class then transitioning to spitting game.

How should I open with a girl in a non school setting.  It's been forever.

Depends on surrounding and situation.
Observe something that could muster a laugh out of the environment you are in or compliment her on something not "obvious"
like the scent she is wearing...
Or you can just be bold and confident and if you make eye contact with her say," Yeah I know you like what you see", and laugh, got alot of play off that, when you give no dambs at all is when you get the best reactions..
Or you could just be a gentleman, introduce yourself in a respectful manner because the era of social media definately has changed mating practices and conversations that bringing that old school conversation is refreshing to some of these women out here.

That's pretty much how I go about it as well. Especially the playing your surroundings part. Someone's acting crazy, just be like "can you believe this guy" blah blah blah, "that reminds me of this one time", "what brings you here?"

As far as music I have two modes:
Straight ****** I throw on some Kellz or Trey Songz and the two funniest songs I ever had sex to were by Jeezy( Tear That ***** Up,Take it There,lol)
But when it's romance with wifey I stay with oldies and atmosphere

As far as cooking( even though I am wifed up), I cooked for all girls...
Reason why, it's definately cheaper then going out, plus you have them in your domain.
So you have the smell good around the house, atmosphere, music playing, etc and this makes a woman feel comfortable and inviting, plus you are cooking by the end of all this you are guaranteed the draws. Plus you have leftovers for the week for yourself. I get not cooking for everybody but sometimes if you put a little thought into it you can see its a win-win for both parties. that may be why my response is so out the blue--only dudes I've ever been in a sex only situation with were in their 30s. They always made sure I was fed (and sometimes it was with food they themselves prepared), yet they were still really clear that we weren't in a committed relationship…. **** man I don't even know what the hell we were doing …. l I just knew they weren't my man and I wasn't their woman.

The first time for each of them we discussed having sex prior to me going over there, so by the time I made it music was never a real real factor. If it's a girl who ya'll never really discussed having sex, but it's something you tryna acquire… just bust out a bottle of wine. If they are younger, they may not be used to it so it'll "sneak" up on them, as opposed to vodka or another hard liquor who most kids been drinking since they were damn 13. They gonna know "what's up" and MAAAAY dodge the drink. But you offer a glass of wine? It just has a diff connotation to it …. more sophisticated blah blah blah. Things that will all help YOU in the long run.

If a girl is a lone with you in your space, she has thought about sex and isn't totally opposed to it; half the battle is already over. All you gotta do is NOT **** it up.

^^^no offense at old head(I'm 32)lol...
When I was younger I had that mentality of just smashing and dashing but a old head himself slowed me down right around 23 and showed me the game like Mr.Miyagi and told me that you get alot more women when you are just yourself and are a gentlemen... I didnt listen at first but I tried his approach on a specific young lady I really liked and it worked and I have never turned back. Fixing a meal whether for a jump off or wifey is all the same. It doesn't make you a simp or doormat if you do these things because you have to think bigger then just the goal, which with some it's just yambs. When you meet anybody, whether woman or in business, giving your best foot forward gives the perception you know what you are doing. "Respect your Prey", lol..
What I mean by that is everybody is left with impression of experiences, so giving the most ratchet individual a taste of something different can definately change their perception of how a gentleman should court a lady. Ever since my old head broke it down like that, I saw things so much more different and my success rate went through the roof because I wasnt just looking at short term and i was looking at the bigger picture. That's why I always preach quality over quantity because showing a humanistic side and maturaity catches alot of fishes.
Conversation,Culture,Observation,Knowledge of Mulitple Subjects and Being an overall Gentleman can get you so much more play and head way in life...
