Uhhh don't see a problem with it, its called keeping the integrity of your brand. LV is very well known as a luxury brand that likes to keep its image prestigious. I mean you can't say they don't wany people in the urban community rocking their pieces because they have Pharrell designing shades and Kanye working on designing a shoe. We all see what happens to brands that become bastardized ie Burberry so i think this is more of keeping the integrity of their brand rather than them not wanting us to wear it.
You keep your brand's integrity by keeping that **** out of the hands of the "wrong" people.

Yea Jay was/is the same way. Its like if the artist doesn't rock their own clothes to me that shows they don't even like them so whyshould I cop? I don't understand it myself. I will say though that some of these cats rock this #*! so they can in the long run actually be signed underLouis or Gucci to rock their #*!. So it does benefit to rock the #*! in your video for free but yea I don't really understand why TIP ain't rockin'his own #*!.Originally Posted by tmukg21
Rappers confuse me. They invest millions of dollars and time into a new clothing company, yet gives free promo to two billion dollar brands.
Imo, Gucci and LV don't want to be in the same video and competing like dude above me said.

Or Marco Polo where Soulja Boy and Bow Wow got Louis on? Or Game's Pain? I don't believe the problem is dudes wearin' the problem is having two competitors in the same video shoot. I'm sure Reeboks and Nike wouldn't want to be headlined in a rap video either. Or PS3 and XBOX 360.
