Well these dudes are old, but they're legends, nonetheless.

Who do you expect/want to be up there, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne?
i mean, can we get folks who had hits in the 80's or 90's at least sheesh...the NFL is strictly catering to the 45 and over crowd with this bull

Next year should be a medley of some of the greatest one hit wonders of all time. MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, the Macarena dudes...would be epic.
You arent calling The Who one hit wonders, correct?
No, unless they are? Not gonna lie, i only know them from name and not specific songs

Get these old $$*@! off the stage!

This isn't even about money. This is about being "safe" and projecting a certain image for the NFL (i.e. non ghetto, thug, wild etc.).  This is horse %!%@ though. For real.

Nah, this is classic & timeless rock and roll. Not necessarily my cup of tea either, but the show is  good.

Why not!? At least their relevance to music is now..and not 30 years ago.

....but Wayne and Cudi wouldn't be first pick..at all...
Why does the music have to be relevant to music now?

You dont understand how businesses work, do you?

You sound stupid as hell here.

A good business move would be to put on an act, or 2 that are relevant to 2010, not 1970 something....
