You could honestly put an email into the NYCgame acct to free up the old email to associate with NYC game but before doing so, you need to contact me via email so I can know when to do the switch.

No, it takes the same amount of time.  All of these requests have to be processed by humans and they're done in groups for the sake of efficiency.

I've been told that the next set should be completed by the end of the day, so hopefully many of you who've submitted requests will soon find that your information has been updated.

But everything else is in working order. Also some of the threads seem to have double posts in them, will that be fixed as well (I know unrelated to this thread, separate subject altogether).

I'm checking on the status of the post count/join date submissions now.  It's possible that the last set is taking longer to process than was initially expected.  Hopefully we can get everyone's information corrected soon.

Send me a PM if you notice any examples of this so we can figure out what's going on.

Sometimes, new users whose posts are automatically placed in the moderation queue for screening (to weed out spam, etc.) submit things over and over again.  On occasion, this means that they'll submit something AFTER one iteration has already been approved and that can create redundancies.  I've suggested a fix for this and hopefully the technical team can help us reduce these types of occurrences. 

It could also be an issue with the old data, double posts from prior to the import (the old system was absolutely notorious for double posting due to loading issues), or just plain impatience on behalf of those submitting new posts.  Without specific examples to reference, we can only speculate.
