I`m hearing people say they think it was fixed to get people talking about the pageant, who knows though. While steve harvey is known to do a lot for a pay check, I doubt he would step in front of a moving bus for a little extra money lol.

I dont follow Steve for anything he did outside of the Steve Harvey show, so while I think he is just a corny old guy, I haven't seen him do too much comprising stuff more just put out stuff that just doesnt cater to me.

Instead we often get pages upon pages of word twisting, backpedaling, and an eventual "if you seriously don't see the point that I've done a weak job of conveying, then there's no need to discuss this any further. I'll just take the perception that I've created of you here and bring it up in the next thread."
As for the actual topic, I had forgotten these pageants existed. You would think that they would have details like the formatting of the card and teleprompter down to a science by now, but nothing involving humans will ever be error-free so it is what it is. Son apologizing to the "Philippians" is pure gold though.

At the end of the day this was good for Pageant and MIss Colombia. Pageant is getting more attention than it ever has, I had no clue is was on and if not for Steve would have never known. Miss Colombia will go and be better than she would have if Steve got it right. At the end of the night who remembers the loser. She lost in the best possible way.
