The majority of the vid is him questioning Marcellus and Bill for the things they've said and asked since that vid.
He said Max is a great and kind guy who is a genius and the only thing he disputes is he is not Muhammad Kellerman really and that he had no problem debating him everyday. The problem was Max wasn't good at standing on his takes following up Skip. Even Max basically said the same thing and talked about how they keep breaking down a topic until they found something they disagreed on to debate.
Stephen A. made a fair case for why he suggested Max be replaced.

Yes, SAS has beef with LeBron now. But Skip made his LeBron takes into an art. This was years of him dismissing the boy from Akron.why SAS got a pass for years while skip didn’t doing the exact same thing is a conversation a lot of people don’t wanna have
Skip was the one who chose to take the bag and go to FS1, which ended up being bad for his career and landing him on the island of irrelevance.
Then he may or may not have been part of the antics at that station.
And then we have the fall out with Shannon.
It really is this year that we began to make the turn on SAS due to the LeBron beef and his conservative views and misinformation.
And no one is giving that man a pass. The black community vilified him for his Crockett attack. And black podcasters are continually fact checking him. Roland Martin, Van Latham, JAAM, Grits and Eggs, Bakari Sellers and em, etc.

Max is more educated on the plight of black people and their culture…
SAS just doesn’t operate there. And he may appeal to other demographics as hip but in the community naw.

SAS stole skips flow but was allowed to do so because he wasn’t an old white guy. Turns out he’s was much worse. You’re right, he’s just an algorithm talking head. Whatever will get the most engagement is what he will talk about.

From an entertainment perspective, Shannon is easily more charismatic and magnetic.
I do think Mohammed Kellerman is probably a better debater.
Either way…First Takes quality has definitely dipped and due to the quality of fill ins…it doesn’t hit the same as the incredible ESPN personality roster of yesteryears.
