Stephen A. Smith Wylin

Just by default because people who want sports stuff blindly turn to ESPN. There’s no more substance nowadays.
I don’t disagree with your point in that regard, but other than FT and live sports, there’s not much reason to watch ESPN. And SA has build himself to the point that ESPN needs him more than he needs them IMO.

espn would be fine. People who constantly watch espn everyday as a routine don't have anything else to watch at 10 am unless they want to give fs1 a try.

You're underestimating the actual platform of ESPN/Disney. They need each other. All the names who left took steps back in terms of notoriety/influence etc. Stephen values the consistent spotlight and Disney perks. The companies who have enough to pay him don't have enough day to day scheduling throughout the year.

He's in a similar position as Charlemagne who's been auditioning for that Daily Show job for years.

Watchin SAS this morning be serious when talking about the lebron confrontation was a joke in itself. SAS is like a narcissist because he always likes to play the victim when people engage him because of what he says. Now, we all know bronny is not a legitimate nba player and his father is the reason he was drafted and even “plays” for a team. so its kinda funny & ironic that LeBron is all up in his feelings for something that is more likely true than not

Kids are a sensitive subject no matter the father. Sure, you got the LaVar Ball’s who will bring it to whoever whenever about his kids and able to be pure entertainment, but that’s not the norm.

Especially when it comes to billionaires. They don’t care who you think you are, you will respect their seed. Family names mean everything to these people and their legacies. Really learned that lesson from Game of Thrones from Tywin Lannister.

Plus, Stephen A don’t keep that same energy for Ivanka, Jared, Don Jr, or Eric when it comes to his political talk, but I digress.

The problem with these sports analysts like Stephen A and company is they feel like they have to comment on every single thing.

Nothing wrong with critiquing Bronny but the attention you give him compared to the other players in the NBA or G League with comparable stats isnt no where near the same.

You talking about Bron's son, then gonna go sit courtside at the Lakers game like everything is good... nah bruh... as a man and a father I have to say something to you.

You get on ESPN and your podcast everyday and comment on what everybody else is doing...

Gossiping is literally what you do for a living... as a grown man.

I get everyones point and i dont disagree whatsoever.

My issue was his tone and acting like lebron was in the wrong and how he addressed it. LeBron was absolutely in the wrong for doing a public display of disrespect towards him but i understand family and such.
