Yup, next Friday.
Word. That and the Darth Maul game are my two biggest disappointments in cancelled Videogames

This is interesting though for Boba Fett/Rebels fans.

If thats actually Boba that would be awesome!

I totally agree with you Jay they have all these games and what they insist on doing is making battlefront, I got bored of that game quick! I need some levels/missions, I need an open world. And I don't own a gaming comp nor would I invest in one, so any of those RPG's are out of the question

Man...This season seems to be packed with a lot of main characters.

Cuz they're leading up to Rogue One. You know there will be tie-ins, and references coming as we get closer to December.

I hadn't thought about it, but it would be possible to go right on past and thru Rogue One, and tie in the series to the events that take place in Episode IV. 8o
Hell, if they reallllllllllly wanted too, they could bring characters like Luke, Han, Chewie, etc onto the show after the first Death Star is destroyed. They could do several seasons of this stuff, if they wanted too.

(I'm not expecting that, just saying they COULD go that route)

helmetless storm troopers are gone in battlefront! holy **** they actually listened

Haven't played battlefront since they started releaseing DLC you have to pay for. I already bought the Darth Vader PS4 and deluxe edition. Refused to pay any more. Might pop the game back in now though.

Its so cringe how they make games now. Remember the good 'ol days of the entire game coming on one disc. I've never paid for any DLC but I might after this death star content comes out

I want the Death Star content as well so I will pay for that.

I mean, I was big into BF4 and payed for premium upfront. As much as people hate on the problems that game had they were addressed and I felt it was worth what I paid. But that was literally the only game I played for like two years straight so it didn't matter to me.

I can definitely understand people's frustration with DLC you have to pay for. $60 is enough for a game already. Then you end up paying $120 or more it's :x

Wait, what? This was a thing people complained about? What'd they replace all those "options" with? :lol

yea technically stormtroopers wouldnt be allowed to go in battle helmetless no?

now you wont see helmetless grey haired grandma and grandpa stormtrooper on the battlefield

also han and luke will be in their helmetless stromtrooper skins in a future update so that partly why helmetless troopers are gone.

heads and unforms for the rebels will now be interchangeable

new uniforms for the rebels will be x wing pilot and rebel officer uniforms

new imperial skins will be navy troopers and imp officers so technically you could still show your face in the imp officer uniforms

also shock, scout, and shadow troopers can now be female

and you can change the color of cauldron on your stormtrooper now

basically they made it more customizable while keeping helmets on for the imperial side

This was an issue? lol

I wonder what else they have in store with this latest update? 8o

bossk looks crazy while chewie looks like a piece of hairy dookie but hell any chewie is good chewie

that new battlestation mode is gonna be crazy. think there is like 3 stages to it

r2d2 is finally in the game via stage 2 of the battlestation mode

first stage is taking down a star destroyer and third stage is the trench run on the deathstar

That's what's up. No Imperial Guard skins though?

You can play as an imperial guard upon respawning when someone on your team is playing as Palpatine, only two members of the team at a time though.

For anyone that still plays this does anyone play on PS4? I have the season pass so I've been on this pretty frequently since it dropped, but a lot of my buddies have already dropped it.

Oh, nice. Unfortunately, I'm on XBone. I'm finally picking up the PS4 Slim today but doubt I'll get it again for that.

For those that wanna play the VR missions in December, will that be DLC for this game or a separate thing entirely?

Drop Zone was my game, but it seems nobody is ever on it when I try to play, always get thrown into matches with 2-3 people on each team smh. Been playing the larger game modes like Supremacy or just the rotating modes on the DLC lately.

Even though Disney has only released one new Star Wars movie since buying Lucasfilm in 2012, they have much bigger plans for this galaxy far far away. As of right now Disney has Star Wars movies planned through 2020, but their plans extend far beyond that. According to Disney CEO Bob Iger, they have already started making plans that extend far beyond Episode IX.

Bob Iger recently spoke at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia conference and naturally, the subject of Star Wars came up. According to The Wrap, the studio has just started mapping out their plans for 2021 and beyond, with Bob Iger saying that Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy is developing an entire Star Wars universe. Here is what he had to say.

"I had a meeting yesterday with Kathy Kennedy and we mapped out - well, we reviewed - the 'Star Wars' plans that we have 'til 2020. We have movies in development for 'Star Wars' 'til then, and we started talking about what we're going to do in 2021 and beyond. So, she's not just making a Star Wars' movie, she's making a 'Star Wars' universe, of sorts."

Disney paid more than $4 billion for Lucasfilm in 2012 and they already made more than $2 billion from the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. So by the time Star Wars Episode IX and a few spinoff movies have been released come 2020, they will have more than made their investment back. But it seems like Disney is planning on milking the Star Wars cow for all it is worth, which makes total sense. Assuming they can keep the quality at a certain level, it is essentially a license to print money for the foreseeable future.
