I'd take Making Star Wars articles with a grain of salt, not gospel. Overall they're usually more wrong than right.
I mean think about it...how would Rey know who Vader is or how powerful he was? Even if he's her grandfather, it's not like he knew him or was even alive when he died. Plus that's some cringeworthy dialogue if true. I don't buy it for one second.

/ Finn / Kylo / Captain Phasma that's been publicly released so far. Only big misses by them was the Jedi Hunters / Luke being the bad guy (which honestly I can see being mis interpreted based on concept art). They've been right more than any other source.
And other rumors would help you to connect the dots with how Rey might know who Vader is.
And honestly, are we not going to believe something being in Star Wars because the dialogue is "cringeworthy"
?

I wished it were. I would rather Vader's history been left up to the fans imagination as it was before the prequels. We knew the basics and that was all....I would have been happy with the cartoon network Clone Wars and newer CWs cartoons be all we had of Anakin's story.

Right now I have it on III. I just watch it in 30 minute increments when I have time. Where I'm currently at, Mace got thrown out the window.

That would have made him and Obi Wan duel more special. You just watched Mace catch the fade from Anakin in a nice mini duel, then the epic showdown between Ani and Obi.

Agreed, that would have made that movie much more satisfying. Mace Windu is stuff of legends and I wanted to see him against the chosen one.
