One thing I'm noticing is Jedi always talking about bringing balance to the force at times where for all they know the balance leans in their favor. Are they purposely allowing dark forces to rise for objective and equal balance?

Nah they always half *** it cuz they got a damn near inherent bias.

If they truly believed in balance they'd let the Smith rule half the galaxy w/e way they want and it'd be a cold war setting and theme.

I really hope Disney makes Star Wars the next marvel. It looks like they are. Separate character stories and movies and start intertwining them together so we have to watch it all. And I hope it’s as well done.

I re-watched the episodes with my brother and joked "ahh they even brought back the same CGI from the prequel trilogy" when they showed Alderaan LOL.

So that thing that pops up when Ben goes back to his cave - his alarm system - that’s R2D2 right?

It’s definitely an astromech droid but that’s my new theory. I thought that as soon as I saw the thing pop up.

Then later he’ll dig him up and give him to Leia to replace that little thing that got stomped on, and he becomes her companion.

Then when he gets the Death Star plans and is back on Tatooine he goes looking for Ben - and we get that "I don't seem to remember ever owning a droid." That’s just him being mysterious or obtuse - he didn’t own him, just worked with him for a while. He did have a bit of a wry smile as he said it.

The only problem with that is that their is practically zero chance that George Lucas was thinking anywhere near that far ahead.

r2d2 and c3po are already with the organas. they went with bail at the end of revenge of sith and both shown at the party the organas were at/thrown in obi wan series.

the droid under the dirt might be the droid obi wan had previously in the prequels the red one. r4
