When she said she wanted to join and it was pretty clear Disney/Lucasfilm was going to make that happen I was thinking more of a possibility of her playing Pre is/Dart Trays for some type Sith Triumvirate trilogy.

Cuz apparently the theme of the sequel trilogy was to "kill the past" so that stupidly meant not learning from past mistakes and at least doing what they got right before.

Buuuuut, I can justify it by Luke just not being nice with the lightsaber styles. Maybe he didn't get those issues of the Jedi manuals? His lightsaber duels were basically just him swinging his lightsaber like a baseball bat. Can't expect to learn much style, from a guy like that.

Each movie should've had one dope standout lightsaber fight at the least.

George easily did that for the prequels plus some.

If they handled the characters right (like Finn) it easily could've been done with Finn & Rey vs. Kylo, Finn vs. Phasma then throne room fight and Kylo vs. Luke, then to end it Rey vs. Kylo, Kylo vs. Knights of Ren, Rey vs. Sidious, Rey & Kylo vs. Sidious.

I don't know him so I'm just indifferent, I was just meaning I have no bias for or against him. Just like Daisy I saw attack Attack the Block years ago just to see and it was a good flick but he didn't really an impression on me like he's next or something. It was a good one watch movie.

They could've kept the garbage man stormtrooper narrative as a joke. All they had to do was simply reveal that Finn was actually skilled in all areas required to be an elite storm trooper (marksman, piloting, explosives, engineering, strategy, etc. including swordsmanship) ready to fight a war but he downplayed them due to how he ended up a part of the First Order.

Add that with his experiences with the First Order and he's become more selfish and focused on escaping. Then you can have him meet Rey and have an impact on him so his story arc is more inclined with helping the rebellion. Have him actually surprise Kylo when they fight even if he cant use the force. Strip away that casino planet freeing animals trash and you got something.
