Rumors regarding deleted scenes.
Several scenes involving Dane DeHaan were cut due to the disturbing and intense nature of the scenes. These include: Harry drinking and speeding while the girl he is on a date with begs him to slow down. An extended version of Harry's transformation into the Green Goblin, including his teeth growing and shattering, and his nails growing into claws. The Green Goblin showing himself to Felicia, who is in the building during the transformation, and sparing her life. In this scene, the Goblin kills Menken, and proceeds to destroy the Oscorp building. The Goblin cutting the web that Gwen is holding on to, which leads to her death. Alternate versions of Gwen's death also included the Goblin fatally stabbing her, and breaking her neck with his bare hands. According to the actors, the original Goblin vs. Spider-Man fight was longer and more violent, but had to be cut in order to keep the PG-13 rating. Things that were cut include a scene where the Goblin (Dane DeHaan) is conscious when Gwen dies and laughs at Peter as he cries over Gwen's body and a scene where Peter almost beats the Goblin to death after Gwen is killed.
Webslinger in Front: How ____________ Transformed the ‘Spider-Man’ Franchise
In December 2013, six months before The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opened in theaters, Sony announced that Men in Black writer Ed Solomon, Cabin in the Woods writer-director Drew Goddard, and Amazing Spider-Man 2 writers Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, and Jeff Pinkner would join forces to form a Spider-Man “brain trust.” Their task: sequelize and spin off the comic-book webslinger into a sprawling mega-franchise. Think the screenwriter version of the Avengers.
The Amazing Spider-Man franchise blurs the line even further. These guys are nearly all TV veterans. While Kurtzman and Orci are the duo behind Transformers and Star Trek, they’re former colleagues of Pinkner and Goddard, who all worked together at ABC’s Alias. Goddard and Pinkner went on to write for Lost, with Pinkner later re-teaming with Kurtzman and Orci to run Fringe. (The lone man out, Solomon, worked with Kurtzman on last year’s hit Now You See Me.)
“They’ve all come out of that sort of J.J [Abrams] world, and they know each other, and they trust each other,” Tolmach says.
This was actually the IMAX exclusive one.
My little bro grabbed me one lol
They are on eBay for real cheap.
It's not a big poster, perfect hallway or side wall size.
Who said those were the options. We just had Emma Stone. Woodley is a step down. Way down.Shailene Woodley is cute but she's no MJ. They can def find someone wayyy better.
Woodley is
Id rather her than some cw chick that can barely act
Bull **** for making the fight scene shorter. Like maybe have an extended fight that doesn't make it rated R? I don't know how Webb could have filmed all that, edited it down and out and felt satisfied with that fight. I would've brought everybody back for a reshoot to at least make it a bit longer while keeping it pg13

BOX OFFICE: ‘Neighbors’ A Raucous No. 1 As ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2′ Slides
Universal Pictures’ Neighbors partying frat boys has The Amazing Spider-Man 2 climbing the walls. Neighbors will take the No. 1 spot this weekend — there’s no way around it now as the young superhero got a bit wasted Friday. Neighbors has an estimated Friday haul of around $18.3M to $18.5 and Spidey slid — perhaps down roughly 59% in its second weekend — to bring in about $10M+ Friday. That means around a $46M+ to $48M cume for Neighbors compared to Spidey’s $37M to $38M. Neighbors is coming in with an overall B CinemaScore tonight vs. last week’s B+ for ASM2.
With a heavy percentage decline of Spidey after lackluster mid-week grosses and a big 72% dip from Friday to Friday (includes the $8.7M Thursday late nights), Spidey’s second weekend also recasts doubt about its overall domestic cume and begs the question … how in the world is the studio going to win domestic audiences with two more of these suckers? The good news for Sony is that ASM2 is expected to have a slightly better hold on Sunday than the R-rated Neighbors (the only R-rated movie in the top 10). ASM2 is PG-13. The Seth Rogen, Zach Efron-starring comedy will likely hold steady on Saturday with Spidey having a better hold on Mothers’ Day Sunday … so it really came down to this Friday estimate. Universal is the best one out there now producing and marketing comedies.
No, really. Doesn't look as good or anywhere good an actor.Bull **** for making the fight scene shorter. Like maybe have an extended fight that doesn't make it rated R? I mean people have seen it. Overseas there were special screenings and all that, and some say what they got was a lot different than what we got.
SONY aint doing one of my fav and best superheroes justiceMan, if the international market for ASM2 hadn't grown, Spider Man would be toast
