his movies just weren’t good, which was beyond him

ryan Reynolds, for example, was good as deadpool in a horrible movie (wolverine origins)

Spidey movies should have the easiest premises, in theory and making a solid flick shouldn't be too difficult but Sony is Sony.

It would be dope for him to get another solo film but I don’t think he’d do it unless Sony gives him a gigantic bag. Mans was too good in Tick Tick Boom. I heard Sony wants to introduce Silk, maybe a film with both could be interesting? I don’t know much about her though.

He was one of the most hated and now he's the most loved after NWH.

Nah people definitely said he was "too cool" and not nerdy enough to play Peter. He wasn't hated, but he definitely wasn't universally liked.

im one of those dudes, i definitely think he looked too cool and still do but being older and having a 5 o’clock shadow can make himt he peter parker from the spiderverse animated film and it could work now for garfield

he embodied spiderman best with his quips and jokes but i always though tobey looked a lot nerdy, like dude is so nerdy that the evil version of him with the symbiote in SM3 was comical and why its a popular meme

holland is the one that looks closest to his age like he’s actually in high school, andrew and tobey looked old or in college already but to be fair to tobey, most of his films are set in college and later

They definitely should do it again once Miles takes over the mantle. And with more screen time for them all .

Tobey was the worst spidey to me, but I liked him in this

garfield hugely benefitted from being able to finally finally explore the space here.. I think he could have pulled off a better spidey in his solo movies but the director screwed him.. he plays dorky in the social network but the director had dude pulling kristen stewart type moves

I seen the movie Friday and it was Amazing, no Spectacular, no that’s not the word I would say Sensational (with a little bit of Superior). Though I do have questions about the ending but I’m not sure when the embargo for commentary on the movie will be lifted in the thread.
