Definitely must be because Mysterio can’t levitate or make copies of himself. It was all just an illusion. In the post it says how the illusion cloaked Beck while Peter was talking to a hovering Mysterio. So during that scene Mysterio was an illusion and Beck masked himself as an illusion so he could sit next to Peter so when Mysterio would then sit next to him and reveal his face, it would all match up.
