U can't make any moves until ur best player lets u know if he is coming or going

and in all honesty, LeBron left before Jamison could thrive, before Moon or Parker could develop into Ariza

but he was scared to take on Boston...unlike KOBE!

BANG! [Mike Breen Voice]

You have to make moves FIRST to show that you are committed to get better.

Look at their roster now, you're telling me they have to wait for Bron's decision to decide whether to improve the team?

You should be trying to improve the team regardless.  Moon & Parker will never develop into an Ariza type of player and this guy Jamison went 0-11 in his Cavs debut. It shouldn't take a few years for you to adjust, he went from a non playoff team to a title contender he should've been stepped up with an opportunity like that

People are taking winning by himself all wrong

we mean win it as the leader and make others around him better

Like Jordan did a Kukoc, Kerr...like Kobe did Ariza, and Farmar

Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Why the King Will Forever Be a Prince

Good Article

Leadership became an issue during James' time in Cleveland, and his decision to become one of the guys in Miami may mean he is not ready to lead a franchise to the promised land.

Los Angeles Lakers' guard Kobe Bryant is familiar with that perception because it dogged him since the time Shaquille O'Neal decided to pack his bags and vacate the premises.

But Bryant was able to find redemption a few seasons later, and instead of trying to find which superstar could best help him win a ring without Shaq, he made a decision to continue his legacy in Los Angeles.

To be fair, the Lakers did land Pau Gasol, who ended up being a perfect complement for Bryant, but that deal was made out of necessity and was not nearly as orchestrated as the formation of the Miami super team.

Its common knowledge kobe strong-armed the entire laker organization by threatening to leave unless he got more pieces to be contenders. Kobe's foolery will not be forgotten.

EXACTLY.  I am so sick of everyone talking like Kobe would never do this or Kobe would never do that.  Kobe wants to win rings and if he has to dog out Bynum publicly when he wanted Jason Kidd he will do that.  If has to try to force his way out of LA to get talent around him he will do that as well.  LeBron never alienated or bad mouthed his teammates publicly.  When it came time to become a free agent he decided to leave.

kobe is a competitor who got shaq kicked off the team because he wanted to be "the man"

bron is a wimp who couldn't win a thing without the help from not one superstar, but two superstars. if he wanted help and to still be the man he would have went to chicago with rose, noah, and boozer. oh wait that's not enough help for the "king" i guess....

Dude the Cavs acquiring Antwan Jamison was Ok'd by Lebron as if he was actually going to stay. All in all Lebron played everyone at the Cavaliers organization, Lebron definetely had problems with people there before all of this. He just didn't want to stay their and he definitely wanted to embarrass the team and the state. Everyone who is mad has a right to be mad.

Also Lebron saying he just woke up this morning and decided on Miami is BS and there have been reports that have been confirmed that Lebron had his people start moving LAST WEEK!

Lebron is definetly the villian in this situation but the staff and the owner of the Cavs should have been planning just in case they didn't get Lebron.
