I had a post on my website today theorizing on why voluntarily being a drug dealer just isn't worth it for the money you make...it ends up being pretty close to slavery for most folk. I'm not gonna post the whole thing here (unless somebody asks) but if you want, you can check it out and tell me what you think: http://undermyfitted.blog...anna-be-drug-dealer.html

Don't get me wrong though...I still hope my

man stays in business

Damn, word? I guess that's what I get for watching the movie and not reading the book...mine was supposed to be more funny than serious though...

Read the whole thing. I think you wrote that blog as if we were living in New Jack City times.

The game has changed. They still exist, but open air markets are really a thing of the past.

This negates your point in regards to spending 8 hours a day hustling in the rain and the cold.

And besides, the real way to be a drug dealer in 2011 is to become an employee of Pfizer.

Check out some of Steven Levitt's speeches. He better articulates what you are trying to say in this blog.

Peace

Thats why you leverage other people's time & effort word to the CEO

unless you are making 10s of millions its not worth it, get caught and go to jail for years if your only making less than 100,000 and you get caught its like making 10000 a year with the time your spending sitting there and dont even try to put a price on being someones B

While I'm certainly hip to the white collar pushers, I gotta say as a resident of an "urban area" that the open air market damn sure is not dead. I see it every day from the time I hop the train to work to when I come back, same dudes, same marketing stretegy, same product...it still goes down, man. Anyway, definitely thanks for checking me out, homie.

The open air market is hot and foolish.
Find someone that got weight.  Find someone that need weight.

It ain't that hard.

No biggie. I was pretty sure you were wrong but maybe I wasn't reading it right. 571/day doesn't sound right either... whatever!

Sosa had it all figured out. I think that's who they should've made the movie bout. Cause pimpin had a helicopter at his crib, just in case his homeboy smelled a snitch.

Very true...but how many Sosas can there possibly be? For every Sosa, there are about 1,000 of those henchmen he had that didn't get any lines or even a drink when company came through.
