So when did we start calling the Griffey's Freshwaters & Volt's?

I thought Freshwaters were AM 95's and Volts were Foamposites.
A bit confusing if you ask me.

Freshwater is the color name on the box of the Griffeys, AM95, AF2 and all other shoes in that "pack". Same with Volt on the Griffeys, Tailwinds,Blazer 2K9 etc.

When Nike printed those colourways on the box and someone read it. I believe it's descriptive so one knows whichparticular colour one is talking about.

Back in the day, like when they first dropped,
they were just called Black or Blue. Times have changed.
 
^ Yep... but then again, they didn't have the all-black ones back then...

I just hope the kids won't start calling the black/red or orange ones "Bred" or the Blue ones "Laney's"...

I'll stick with 'Mariner Emerald' though...


Interestingly enough, the OG's never mentioned anything about 'Volt'...
