they need to forget about this crab dribble crap and make flopping a foul, stop calling so many touch fouls, call the travel more, and focus on the hard foulsaround the basket. if they go in the other direction, they're just softening up the game and, in turn, killing the integrity of the game in the L.

A jumpstop is equivalent to taking 2 steps, that's why you can't establish a pivot foot after.

The jump stop differs in FIBA rules as the 1 step taken b4 u land on both feet together only counts as 1 step not 2 u still have another step or pivot.

My old coach from the US always told us he loved this rule much better as he was a 7 feet center and jump stopping into the paint and then having a step to goround a defender was great.

What Letravel does ain't nowhere near what a supposed crab dribble is though. Lebron takes 4, sometimes even 5 steps at a time before he lets the ball go.

This is totally the NBA catering and bending over backwards to accommodate this dude in order to make more money off him.

Fans and purists got no say in this as long as Stern gives it legitimacy by labeling it as the NBA "evolving" instead of what it really is, which istailoring and altering in order to push the agenda of it making it appeal to a wider group of people by dumbing it down.

yea you know what the traveling is becoming just far too common, everyone travels nearly all the time...and I'm sorry but it makes defense nearlyimpossible to play..it's bad enough you get whistled for any contact made when youdefend but when they are allowed to travel and carry all the time itallows them to do whatever they wont without stopping..how do you stop someone that doesn't have to dribble??? oh and the game would be whistled everysecond if they actually called the travels that occur everytime dudes catch the ball on the run, fundamentally the ball is supposed to hit the ground beforeyou take a step or else its a travel..
