There wasn't many strict rules as now, and we were on EZBoard
Stories that people posted were a lot funnier and more realistic than now.
WDYWT was a lot more friendlier and more about kicks than now. Now it's mainly dudes criticizing on their style/hair.

When GoldenArmz was gettin it crackin and had mad disciples. (whatever happened to fightorganization, btw?)
Cats actually used to know eachother. I remember when Menace5star smashed like a whole NY meetup and it sparked a year-long controversy.
NTers were actually original and had hilarious online personas and managed to stay in character for thousands of posts.
Guevara Ghost was the man with those Cruz Gangstamonte and POCKETS DUMB FAT posts. Word to Lumidee and the Harlem shake story.
NTers like JR Typer with the adlibs.
Sais might as well had been Jesus Obama Jordan, son would make a post at like 5am and by 5:25 it was like 10 pages.
Dirtylicious was all about Air Rifts, New Jersey, and getting his motorcycle license.
People used to just be way cooler and funnier, but the median age was like 5-6 years higher at that time too.

I can't believe I've been on here since '02. It felt a lot more personal back in the early days....you felt like you knew people and that you belonged to a community. Nowadays it just seems like it's overcrowded with little kids
People getting scammed left and right since there were no guidelines at all in selling stuff
(I got burned too
) I remember one dude ripped off at least 6 or 7 people with the exact same picture of some Flint XIII's.
No separate forum for Music and Sports...everything was lumped into one and it was taken over by posts about rap music. Eventually the rap battles started. Anyone remember the tournaments??
EDIT: Who had that Saturn that they were trickin' out and kept posting pictures that everybody clowned on? Was that Cameron? I always thought it looked kinda dope....I wonder what the car looks like now.

i remember when wdywt threads were in general/retro. and people pretty much showed ONLY their shoes. after a while people started posting their whole damn outfits. it got outta hand when s2c came through rockin those bape shark hoodies

haha this. i got flamed hard on one due to a pretty bad mix up in movie references
i remember photoshop contests and staying up all night posting the night the Nubuck XII package was supposed to drop @ midnight. thats probably half my post #s right there. i was on here hard for a year or 2 then disappeared.
