How is anyone falling for the hook line and sinker? Because we can differiate between what's real in life and what's entertainment? What type of nonsense is that? Everyone knows Rick Rawse is fake. Everyone knows this. I just think people simply don't care. It amazes me how much time "REAL N's with a KEYBOARD" spend on NT talking about how someone is gangster or not. It just amazes the hell out of me. I don't care. I just don't. And no one else should care either.Originally Posted by Deuce King

Exactly. I can't believe how many people in here are co-signing Rick FRAUD. No wonder the streets are in such bad shape. Dudes truly don't know the real between the fake anymore. At the end of the day Rick FRAUD never hung out with Big Meech and he damn sure aint hang out with Larry Hoover, so once again that makes him a FRAUD 10 times over. Everything about this guy screams of being fake, but yet people want to give this man praise cause his songs bump or he his music makes your trunk rattle. What type of nonsense is that, it's nothing more than the buffoon show and you dudes are falling right for it hook, line and sinker.
Also, like it has been stated, how you are dudes going to talk about buzz then try to downplay album sales............ Can't have it both ways, although I know you dudes picked up that trait from Rick FRAUD. Your buzz is supppose to lead to album sales, it's the catalyst for that. So with that being said with a measly 1st week sales number of 176K, how much buzz or "so called" buzz does Rick FRAUD really have??
Aight i'm gonna let you in on a secret.....NO ONE IS SELLING in 2010!Album sales. We're still talking album sales in 2010 on the Internet when you know you aren't buying albums so why is this up for discussion?
Fact is, Rawse is a street rapper who doesn't have mainstream appeal. Can we agree on that? He hasn't crossed over. Whether he's meant to or not? Whatever. I don't think he is but some think so. Either way he hasn't and probably never will.
Miley Cyrus does 100k. Sheryl Crow does 50k her 1st week. Christina Aguleiia does 100k her 1st week. Rawse does 170k. Yet, dudes saying he had no buzz now? Really? Was Rawse really suppose to outsell them like that?

What garbage music are you referring to? Ya'll gonna come in here and really act like The Recession ain't go hard? Ya'll wasn't the ones in here loving Put On? Crazy World? My President Is Black? Circulate? Who Dat? Don't Do it? Don't answer that, it's a rhetorical question. Man I been on these forums a long time so I see the trends and see how things change from year to year. And 9 times out of ten its not the artist but the listener who has become stagnated. I listen to a lot of different types of music so I don't have to worry about Jeezy sounding the same, hell I come to Jeezy to hear that particular isht! I don't want him trying to be something he's not. Man as soon as things start to go south dudes will look for any excuse to jump ship. Hip Hop frontrunninYou complaining bout Jeezy doing the same thing but when rappers try to change ya'll start screaming about how they've changed or went commercial (see Jay-Z). Jeezy has stayed in his lane and been one of if not the most consistent rapper coming out of the south, above the likes of TI, Ludacris, and Bun B. Though not all his albums are great there's definitely no duds. What it basically boils down to is rap fans are some of the most fickle in any genre of music and always like to hop on what's new. Ross' sound, ad libs, and mafioso style provides something new for hip hop fans. But this doesn't mean its time to throw Jeezy under the bus, musically speaking. As for the street isht, it's not even worth debating cause I could care less but to keep it all the way 100 no one in recent hip hop memory has been afforded more passes than Ross. It's bogles the mind and again speaks to how fickle rap fans are. I'm all about the music but it always gives me a laugh to see dudes isht on someone like Fat Joe's credibility and then turn right around and throw their support behind a guy like Ross. Dudes is funny *Kanye shrugs*

I don't knock ANY artist for trying to change. I commended Wayne for doing it. I commended Kanye for doing it. I commended Andre for doing. And i'm not saying Jeezy should even grow that much as a rapper. Actually scrap that. I'm not saying he should grow at all. I don't think he's capable of doing it. I'm saying if you're going to make the same song over and over again atleast make it hot. My same beef with 50 and TIP. Tip to a lesser extent. I expect more from him which is why I hate him taking the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" approach. But in regards to Fif and Jeezy. They keep taking this same approach to each album and the albums are getting worse.
And there is nothing "new" about what Rawse is doing. BIG and Jay perfected it in the 90's. As far as hip hop fans being fickle? I think we're just fickle as people. You feel you're entitled to the best. Jeezy isn't giving me his best right now. And for that i'm hoppin' off the bandwagon. You can stay on it so you can look loyal if you want but i'd rather listen to better music.
And I don't know why Rawse gets a pass. But in regards to someone like Vanilla Ice - the difference between the two is that say what you want about Rawse but he is vouched for. He surrounds himself around real dudes. He associates himself with real dudes. He can shout out the Boobie Boys on record and not get called out for it. He can shout out Larry Hoover and get his fams respect. He can shout out Zoe Pound and nothin' comes from it. And then when it comes to music? Jay, TIP, Kanye, Puff and Jeezy himself co-sign him. To quote his album, I think its "Deeper Than Rap" in regards to why he can make it through being exposed as a CO.

Now we're getting somewhere. These are the type of posts that I like to see around these parts.
It amazes me how much time "REAL N's with a KEYBOARD" spend on NT talking about how someone is gangster or not. It just amazes the hell out of me. I don't care. I just don't. And no one else should care either.
It really has nothing to do with being a real GANGSTER or not. It's simply just about being real as a person, if your a doctor be a doctor, if your a lawyer be a lawyer, if your an accountant be an accountant............if your a former CO. turned rapper and then get asked about being a CO. and claimed you NEVER were a CO.....well then that makes you a FRAUD, so in this case we'll continue to let Rick FRAUD be just that................a FRAUD.
Aight i'm gonna let you in on a secret.....NO ONE IS SELLING in 2010!Album sales. We're still talking album sales in 2010 on the Internet when you know you aren't buying albums so why is this up for discussion?

NO ONE IS SELLING in 2010...........REALLY?? The album sales of Eminem and Drake say differently champ. Again, maybe not you, but for the dudes in here that were saying that Jeezy is salty because he doesn't have a "buzz" right now but Rick FRAUD does, what exactly has Rick FRAUD's "so called" buzz got him. From an artists standpoint buzz means nothing without record sales to back up that claim. Having a bunch of dudes trying to co-sign you on a sneaker message board about your buzz is one thing, but getting that to actually translate into something of substance and or profit is something else entirely, just ask Joe Budden.

edit: Ross' response to Jeezy
"I haven't had a chance to talk to the homie," Ross said. "I really don't know what the thought process was behind it. My record was called 'Blowin' Money Fast.' It confused me that if it was called 'The Real B.M.F.,' I would have called it 'The Black Mafia Family.' ... You know, you may have to ask him. Other than that, we still reppin', we still riding, and [my] record is getting love everywhere. So it's all good." (MTV)
