I'm from the Bay Area and I've heard this many times and I say it too, it's normal.
But SoCal is a totally different thing and like what 17708 said, it spread with the hyphy movement

ME and my dudes just make up and use words on the fly.. it's all about context. If I typed like I talked, I'd be creating a new word every 17th post. But some standardized terms include:

Strange - new booty - "Man, I need some strange this friday night!"
scattered - booty - "I'm finna go get on some of this scattered out'chere"
yadig - any noun "I was at that yadig that Joe was talking about, and..." or "Hand me that one yadig over there."


Hell IDK man... it's so much talk that lends itself to affiliations and what hood you from that I wouldn't call it slang and don't realy care to throw it in ya'll faces.. nomskameanie??
