Jokes dealing with race are only okay when they reinforce positive stereotypes.Originally Posted by MoonMan818

You all seem to confused frequency with appropriateness. So what if comedians make racially charged jokes on a regular basis. So what if people in the military make racially charged jokes. It happens alot yes, but that does not make it appropriate.
And what was idiotic about the Watermelon Sour Patch Kids analogy? I was simply bringing up something with the watermelon flavor. Out of all the things I said that is what you chose to address? LOL Funny.
Again, I don't care if it is just jokes. Doesn't make it right.
Son I said real life. I don't consider internet memes real life. I don't know for certain an Asian didn't make that so what's your point?Originally Posted by HAM CITY

So until having a small penis is cool, somebody will complain despite all the Asian porn out there and the small censored blur area.
Not in memes.Originally Posted by Regis

I haven't seen anything else really that offensive. First off the majority of people with the gimmick signs and stuff are Asian. So they are just supporting the guy who is one of their own.
2nd, lets not act like this isn't typical behavior when a person is having success and different than his peers. Tiger Woods heard all the jokes too. From whites and blacks. Danica Patrick hears the jokes too. Is it right? When it is done in good taste I don't see a problem with it.
I wouldn't be mad at Asians supporting a fellow asian while being clever with their OWN culture. Who am I to judge that?
ESPN sports announcers that were black had jokes for days for Tiger. Same with the Williams sisters in Tennis. If you are different people will react. Hell the same with Obama man. He gets all these rap parody videos on WSHH and what not. He's our president and everybody does comedy skits and impressions of him "acting black". Same stuff. If you are different than your peers it comes with the territory.
Its good and bad. If Lin was black the story wouldn't be as big. So he benefits from the fandom. Dude had more fans that Steph Curry in Golden State.
