I remember reading an article about requirements to have X amount of counseling with a psychiatry before the surgery was even signed off on. I doubt it'd be deemed cosmetic. Although, as crazy as it is, I've seen chicks in Texas talk about how little breast have affected their mental state to the point of depression and used that as a door to have the army pay for implants.
So embarrassing that this clown represents of a country
I think a lot of you are missing the point. This sentiment, for whatever bizarre reason is being repeated over and over.
Pay attention. He said they wouldn't be allowed to serve in any capacity. Stop focusing on combat. Half of transgendered people are ALREADY not allowed in combat roles because women are not allowed in combat roles. So people who were born women but identify as males wouldn't be fighting anyways.
This issue is bigger than combat people. He's not allowing them to serve period. In any capacity.
And that people STILL support the administration amidst everything that has transpired since November.
Are there any NTers that still ride for Trump?
Correct me if I'm wrong. But women are allowed in combat arms now right?!?!
I keep seeing in here they aren't. I thought that law was changed a few years ago?
military is buying viagra and cialis??? for who? wth...bruh...that's weird. what are yall shooting with?
They are not allowed to serve in combat roles. Never changed. Would have been a huge headline, would've been impossible to miss.
Edit: I stand corrected. The ban was lifted in 2013 apparently. However. The process is ongoing to open up all combat roles for women.
have you ever served? you clearly have no clue what you are talking about. Women are allowed to serve in combat roles and the military is all about being ready to deploy for COMBAT at the end of the day you need to be ready for combat.
Ima a vet and i dont care if they serve just like gays in the military couldnt express that they were gay but they still served.
The only problem i have with it is if they are allowed there shouldnt be any accommodations to the current regulations or policies just for them. If they want to identify as a girl than they need to follow all the current regulations that are out there for females and vice versa.
damn bout time you did some research
military is buying viagra and cialis??? for who? wth...bruh...that's weird. what are yall shooting with?
dude you have no idea what it takes to get thru a combat basic training course its hard enough for guys let alone females. Also do you know alot of women who are willing want to join the military let alone a combat job that type of women is a rare breed. Until you have served you will never understand how the military truly operates inside all you see is the dumb stuff on the news happening which scares people away from the military.
There are already some females in the 75th Ranger Regiment.
^^^^
Not being funny, but are you for or against Trans people in the military?
I already commented on the physical aspect. Please read.
Miss me with your sanctimonious high horse BS. I don't need to serve to understand that women are willing to serve or the military's true inner workings.
There's no hidden modus operandi that I'm missing. We go to war for false premises, people enlist believing they're joining a noble cause, some know better and join anyways for a check.
You're not special b.
i already stated i dont care if they serve.
who said we were special B? I dont care if people respect me or not for for serving in the military. You got it but you didnt even know women could serve in combat arms damn near 4 years ago but you know the military inner workings FOH.
Y'all can both be right...as a former veteran attached to an infantry unit(no women), I can say John Wick is dead on in saying there's certain things u can't get fully without experiencing them...
Yes 4 years ago.
dude this my last post. I dont have nothing against trans serving, and not bout to debate with someone who doesnt support the military let alone served
With the ban being lifted in 2013 there are a very few women who serve active duty military they barely hitting %20 in any branch check these statistics from 2016
http://www.statisticbrain.com/women-in-the-military-statistics/
with that being said now out of the %20 who serve how many of those want to do a combat job? maybe half %10
Now with that being said how many can actually get thru the training required once they sign up for the combat job? maybe %5
now look at this article of the 2 women who graduated Ranger school in 2015 the first ones throws your whole 2016 logic out the window.
