Playing Devils Advocate, would you ask "Who really cares?" had this been Bush or another character? At the same time, is it because this dude is "black" that he's getting such scrutiny? 

Yes, because Bush is obviously a white, male American. (Not that Obama isn't obviously American either, but you know what I mean) Plus, I have many legitimate issues against Bush that I wouldn't need to waste my energy going after some dumb *$+* like this.
