"In their reinvestigation, prosecutors found a document in the state's trial file detailing one person's statement, saying that one of the suspects had motive to kill Ms. Lee and had threatened her in the presence of another person. The suspect said "he would make her [Ms. Lee] disappear. He would kill her," according to the court filing.

That information was never given to the defense, the filing said. Prosecutors are required by law to give defense counsel exculpatory evidence upon request.

The reinvestigation also revealed that the grassy lot where Ms. Lee's car was found in Baltimore was located behind a house that belonged to one suspect's relative."

So this is a brand new suspect that was recently discovered? Wow.

I hope mans can sue the state. Probably won't win because it was his own defense attorney that really screwed him.

His lawyers weren’t good but his fate was already sealed from jump….They made yo the main suspect n were not letting up no matter what

If anyone is curious, the alternative suspects are :
1. Alonzo Sellers - the janitor that happen to find Hae Min's body in Leakin Park while he trying to take a leak a couple of minutes from his house. I believe Hae Min's car was found close to a relative house of Alonzo.

2. The serial rapist is Bilal Ahmed. Bilal was Adnan's mentor at the mosque he attended. He was the person who cosigned for Adnan's cell phone ( a major key evidence in the case ). He also was the first person Adnan called from he got arrested. He kept a photo of Adnan in his wallet and is believed to have groomed him. Bilal is also the person who hired Cristina G. for Adnan.
Bilal was arrested for gassing and raping multiple victims at his dental practice. Rabia and Yusef (Adnan's younger brother are completely against this guy for obvious reasons).

Bilal is also the one suspected to have threatened Hae Min.

Some speculate Adnan was covering for him / he was the third suspect in the killing.
