SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

Russ getting a deal or nah? I want him to get his bread but the whole deadline thing could be a distraction leading into the season.

No but seriously I don't know what to think of that 4/15 deadline. He should be paid, I think he will be paid, but worst case scenario he has this yr and likely 2 yrs of franchise tagging.

Frank Clark I'm not so sure of unfortunately

He'll get his bread and I'm not taking this deadline seriously but I dont get the point of leaking it

I'm feeling like Frank might get traded now

Deadline day and that report on Russ being done with negotiating, if nothing is reached today, is disturbing. SMH at the fraud agent Mark Rogers trying to finesse the team into giving Russ a specific percentage of the cap moving forward.

Ever since Ciara, Russ loyalty hasn’t been the same.

Just keep franchising him, **** it

Glad he got his bread and the team can go into the season without the distractions. All that being said, Frank is most likely gone unless the team plans on investing a third of its cap on two players.

I didn’t believe for a bit he’d go anywhere else. All this did was give the Giants and their fans a fantasy glimmer of hope:rollin

Russ deserves to secure the bad but something about his demands rubbed me the wrong way. He was almost giving the franchise an ultimatum.

He hasn’t been the same since CiCi but can still ball out. With that given said, we ain’t coming anywhere close to a SB during this contract, let alone the playoffs with all the holes on this team (last season was an outlier)

Can’t even pay for a decent O-line but Russ wanted his money

So Russ demands to be the highest paid qb before his contract is up, gives them a deadline to do it, team gives it to him, then Russ says he loves Seattle so much he couldn’t see himself playing anywhere else

Am I missing something or is that about right?

I love his game but come on bro. It’s going to be really hard to fill out a super bowl caliber team around him. Tbh I’m glad he got his bread but it is conflicting. Making him play it out and franchising him would’ve been ideal

Tagging him would have not been ideal, then you basically risk losing him with no return in a few years...and that bag would have been much bigger by then competing with other teams while he's an UFA

John & Pete have to continue to build through the draft. Only way this works, and they need to be better at evaluating Oline prospects. They've been pretty mediocre and below in that area.

Those tweets. I seent it

I wouldn't be surprised if they let him know he's on the way out... Frank's my guy man smh

Why lockett rockin Chris Carsons chain tho

schedule release later today, draft a week away. good times.

Russell press conference today at 1:30
