I'm already annoyed of either Dipoto not being aggressive and/or ownership tying his hands financially
More so ownership, no president would be hesitant to spend money and grab better players. They were a dark horse for Ohtani, but it’ll be all-time toxic if/when they fail to land him. He doesn’t solve all your problems either, especially when Moore/Haggerty/Caballero really occupied a third of your lineup in very important games this past week.
M’s are two-three bats away, the front office doesn’t have the excuse of not having a core to build on and the prospect bats are 2-3 years away. They have to spend a ton this offseason and/or trade a high value asset (Gilbert, Miller, Woo).
